Our rigorous testing program in Fall 2020 played an essential role in keeping transmission rates on campus low. For Spring 2021, our plan is to stay strong with weekly testing for students and employees who come to campus.

This daily wellness screening via text message is REQUIRED before you come to campus.

3. Weekly Testing

Students living in dorms or coming to campus must get tested each week.

Minimizing Exposure on Campus

  • Thousands of hand sanitizer dispensers across campus

  • 1,329 sneeze guards installed

  • Touch-free paper towel dispensers

  • More than 5,000 spray bottles of disinfectant issued to faculty, staff and researchers

  • At least 50% reduction of students in classrooms

  • Tents set up at the Student Union Memorial Center, Student Recreation Center and other locations on campus to provide shaded multipurpose outdoor areas

  • Modified traffic flows and one-way paths within buildings
